In order to produce a high quality, community-based plan and comply with North Dakota law, McKenzie County will utilize a variety of methods to actively engage community stakeholders. Ways that you can get involved in the comprehensive planning process are listed below.

Ribfest in Watford City on Friday, August 8:

County staff and SRF Consulting joined the community at Ribfest on August 8 to kick off the 2035 Comprehensive Plan update. We asked you to tell us what you love about living in McKenzie County and what can be improved. Over 200 people participated!
